Patty is currently working on an exotic, invasive plants project serving 9 National Park units in southern Arizona, which will provide biological, ecological, and management/control information for 50 NPS chosen species along with their distribution within each park. GIS based maps are being developed for each park using current ground surveys and documented sightings for each species found to occur within the boundaries. She has assisted with research projects within the Station when plant identification, surveys, and vegetation surveys were conducted.
