Dr. D. Philip Guertin

Dr. D. Philip Guertin

Dr. D. Phillip Guertin, is an Associate Professor of Watershed Management and Leader of the Advanced Resource Technology Group in the School of Renewable Natural Resources. Dr. Guertin received his B.S. in Forest Hydrology from Utah State University, M.S. in Watershed Hydrology from Colorado State University and Ph.D. in Forest Hydrology from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Guertin was also a National Research Councial Postdoctural Fellow in Hydrology with the U.S. Geological Survey. Dr. Guertin's recent research has focused on the use of geographic information systems for natural resource and watershed management in the southwestern United States. He currently has GIS-based research projects with the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service, U.S. Geological Survey, and Agricultural Research Service.

Craig Wissler

Craig Wissler

Craig Wissler is the Director of the Advanced Resource Technology (ART) facility and an Assistant Professor of Renewable Natural Resources in the School of Renewable Natural Resources. As Director of ART, Craig is responsible for the management of one of the largest GIS service facilities on campus. His primary activities include GIS instruction, software training, GIS database development, software support and GIS project management. Craig is co-instructor for RNR 417/517 GIS for Natural Resources, which is a common prerequisite GIS database design and development course. He is also co-instructor for RNR 420/520, Advanced Techniques in GIS. Craig is an ESRI authorized instructor for ArcView GIS software, and has offered numerous GIS software trainings at The University of Arizona and internationally. Craig is past president of the Arizona Geographic Information Council (AGIC) and an active member of the executive management board of AGIC.

Dr. Donald Myers (Alternate Delegate)

Dr. Donald Myers

Dr. Donald Myers is a Professor of Mathematics (Emeritus) in the Department of Mathematics. He is also adjunct Professor of Hydrology and in Renewable Natural Resources, and a member of the Applied Mathematics Program, the Committee on Remote Sensing and Spatial Statistics, and the Committee on Global Change. His areas of interest include interpolation methods, multivariate statistics, geostatistics, and environmental statistics.
